Your Lie in April

If you grew up learning any instrument, or even just surrounded by music, specifically classical, this will be a great piece for you. Deeply emotional and poetic, prepare for the cries (and for some distracting tropes).

NOIR

Definitely a product of early 2000s anime. Tries to be deep, dark, philosophical, and does a decent job. Action gets bland, but if you feel like taking on a slow burn mystery that doesn't require too much attention, it's decent. Music is stellar.

Kakegurui

If you’re looking for a rush, Kakegurui won’t disappoint. If you’re wanting to stay comfortable, give it a pass. I'd liken this to very spicy or strong ethnic food: You either love it and get hooked, or you hate it.

Violet Evergarden

Combine the coming-of-age emotion and musical quality of a Ghibli movie with increased gorgeous visuals and a WWI drama. Add a scoop of cathartic emotion, serve with blankets, tissues, and heartwarming hope.
