A sweet and wholesome Slice of Life that takes you through the joys of discovering cooking, and learning to do so for those you love and care about.
Tamako Love Story
With gorgeous enhanced visuals and artistic detail, Tamako Love Story dives a bit deeper into the human relationships presented in the series with a slightly more serious tone.
Tamako Market
There’s an optimism and a powerful love in Tamako Market that shows things not entirely as they are, but how we want them to be. For such a year as this, it’s important to remember that you, yourself, are a large part of what “The World” is to someone, if not many. As such, you are and can be such a powerful force for good, brightening and coloring your own and their life.
Magia Record (Mobile Game)
What began as a passive time-sink grew into a beloved investment. Magia Record's characters, writing, and story have a charm to them unique in the realm of mobile games. Which makes the abrupt end of it that much more painful.
Room Camp (Heya Camp)
Essentially a brief OVA series/tourism commercial. While it maintains the comedy of the main series, there's far less time to relax and experience the comfiness that truly makes Yuru Camp what it is.
5 Centimeters Per Second
While interesting to see one of Makoto Shinkai's earlier works, this left me not really feeling anything. The first section was gorgeous and emotional, but the rest left me wanting.
The Helpful Fox Senko-san
Beneath the facade of a comfy "Magical girlfriend" genre, this is unquestioningly a lolicon primer/grooming show that reinforces toxic relationship ideals.
Ristorante Paradiso
Despite taking place in a restaurant, this is not a food or cooking anime. Rather, it's a Josei harem romance that borders on the line of being a Soap Opera.
MY Love STORY!! (Ore Monogatari!!)
A simple, pure, and joy filled romcom that will leave a stupid grin plastered on your face.
Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll
Focusing primarily on strong sisterly bonds, this movie is less of a Post-War Drama and more of a Period Drama (think Jane Austen meets Charles Dickens). It has calmer pacing than the series with even more gorgeous art and animation.
