Definitely a product of early 2000s anime. Tries to be deep, dark, philosophical, and does a decent job. Action gets bland, but if you feel like taking on a slow burn mystery that doesn't require too much attention, it's decent. Music is stellar.
.hack//SIGN
While it is perhaps the seminal "trapped in a game" isekai, the pacing of this was so painfully slow. While the soundtrack is a masterpiece by Yuki Kajiura, it's used so awkwardly and repetitively that it doesn't do it justice. Skip this one.
Laid-Back Camp (Yuru Camp)
The quintessential Comfy Anime. If you need something to de-stress or something to make you feel warm and relaxed, this is the one. Also educational.
Gourmet Girl Graffiti
A cozy, delightful, and cute food anime that focuses on home and family. It really feels like you experience the meals, versus just drooling over fantastic dishes.
Tanaka-kun is Always Listless
This is second only to Laid-Back Camp in coziness. A delightfully dry, low energy comedy with a strong, subtle, and wholesome humor that's great to watch before bed.
Blend-S
Pretty standard fare for a single-cour slice of life comedy anime. Tropes are embraced and celebrated (and kind of the theme of the show). Nothing remarkable, but a good snack.
A Place Further Than the Universe
A very solid coming of age and slice of life piece with endearing characters and some surprisingly down to earth moments. Warm Fuzzies and crying your eyes out included.
WWW.Working!! (WWW.Wagnaria)
WWW.Wagnaria (WWW.Working!!) keeps a similar premise to the original Wagnaria series, but with new characters, more relationships, and it all feels terribly rushed.
Working!! (Wagnaria)
A truly enjoyable slice of life workplace comedy. Think of it like Parks and Rec meets Cheers, but in Anime.
Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist
A rare, quality sex comedy anime that doesn't wholly rely on fan-service as the content.
