Premise: This film “reconstructs” the Odd Taxi TV anime and also depicts what happens after the TV anime’s finale.
TheAwersome’s Thoughts: There’s very little new here; it’s mostly re-telling the story of the series from the point of view of the characters being interviewed after the events of the main series. As such, it doesn’t serve well as a “watch this instead” like some recap movies, as tension and suspense aren’t nearly as present as they were previously. It does give some more information (very minimal) about what happens at the end of the series that was left untold.
TLDR: If you loved the series and want to relive it slightly differently and slightly more condensed, then go for it, but you aren’t missing anything by skipping it, and you definitely should watch the series before watching this.
