Premise: Hachimitsu Private Academy is a prestigious all-girls boarding school, famous for its high-quality education and disciplined students. However, this is all about to change due to the revision of the school’s most iconic policy, as boys are now able to enroll as well. After the only five boys in the school are rejected by all their female peers, they set their sights on a more dangerous task: peeping on the girls’ bath! After their plan is destroyed by the infamous Underground Student Council, they get sentenced to a month in the school’s prison as punishment. Thus begins the tale of the boys’ harsh lives in Prison School, a righteous struggle that will ultimately test the bonds of friendship and perverted brotherhood.

TheAwersome’s Thoughts: First off, this show does not shy away at all from being overly blatant with its ecchi aspects. It knows you’re here for anime tiddies and it delivers in spades, particularly with the Vice-President; she’s a vehicle for hilariously un-realistic proportions, physics, and behavior so don’t come looking for any empowering, human, role models. I’d rate this as being more crass than Interspecies Reviewers, both in language, body-part focus, etc., but boy howdy this is a very well-made comedy. Timing and characters are a delight, and there’s a powerful high energy to the entire show. Think of it as a cross between Shimoneta and Kakegurui and you’ll have an idea of ridiculousness and intensity.

If you still want the wild ride but aren’t as keen on maxing out your “anime nipples viewed” count, the censored version is the one you’ll find on Hulu, whereas Funimation has both censored and uncensored. Bluray/DVD releases almost always offer uncensored.

Something interesting we observed with this one is that while being heavier on the amount of fan service than other ecchi shows we’ve seen, it wasn’t as “sexual” as them. It’s kind of hard to describe, but while there were more instances of boobs/butts on screen or in focus, they weren’t done in a way that was trying to be arousing or exciting as often? I feel it was more done for comedy or suspense than to create spicy scenes I guess is what I’m trying to say. Still an absolute riot though.
